MetLife Stadium is the venue for the week three Chicago Bears and New York Giants showdown, at 8:00PM on Friday, August 24th. The Giants are the defending Super Bowl Champions right now, and that means that every team wants to work even harder to beat them. Eli Manning has about fifty percent of his passes connecting, but he doesn't have any touchdowns and does have one interception. David Carr and Ryan Perriloux have been able to get two touchdown passes each. The Giants defense have gotten thirteen sacks so far.
The Bears did not do very well in the first week of the preseason, but they were able to take home a win in Week two. Jay Cutler has been able to complete more than half of his passes, and Jason Campbell hasn't done badly as a backup either. The Bears haven't been able to throw a touchdown yet this season, but Matt Forte Carried for sixteen yards four times. As far as the Bears' defense goes, Israel Idonije has two and a half sacks while Blake Constanzo comes in with nine tackles. They also have rookie Shea McClellin.
