The two lowly ranked sides from the East and the West, the Dallas Cowboys and the Oakland Raiders come together on Friday, for their preseason opener of 2013. The O.co Colesium, home to the Raiders, has been chosen the venue for this big clash.
The Cowboys have always been a good side with good results in the national events, but their recent NFC East Rankings of 2012 have been average. They have been training hard for this first game of the preseason, and the matches beyond that. Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray were superb for the Cowboys in the last season, and a lot hangs on their shoulders this time round as well.
The Raiders have been a similar team to the Cowboys as far as the skills and talent of the players are concerned. Hence, an even contest is expected at the home stadium of the Raiders.Raiders have the services of Brandon Myers, the brilliant player from the 2012 season. Carson Palmer and Darren McFadden also remain the main players for the encounter on Friday.

Monday Night Football for this preseason week one will feature the Dallas Cowboys at Oakland Raiders playing at the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum at 8:00PM. This is our very first Monday Night Game of the year, although it is a preseason match. Dallas has some great players again this year, and are hoping for a spot in the super bowl with the team that they have this season. The season ended with the Cowboys winning eight games and losing eight games, and this season the same offense might mean the same sort of season.
The Cowboys have Morris Claiborne picked for defense as well as Brandon Carr. Barry Church will also be returning but they will suffer from the loss of Mike Jenkins who is out with an injury until probably after the regular season starts. The team's defensive coordinator, Rob Ryan, will undoubtedly have to go with some rookies for the defense, with Justin Taplin-Ross, Eddie Whitley and Tyrone Crawford among others wanting a spot. Oakland will be led by a brand new coach, Dennis Allen but the Raiders have a slight advantage due to Terrelle Pryor and the fact that the Raiders are playing at home.
