The Broncos started out well in the preseason, but then seemed to lose whatever mojo they had. They had a win against the Chicago Bears that was embarrassing for Chicago, with Denver taking 31 points and the Bears only scoring 3. Then, they went up against Seattle and San Francisco and lost both times.

The Cardinals were the other team that played four games this preseason so far, with the New Orleans Saints. The Cardinals lost their first two games of the preseason. They ended up losing to New Orleans first with 17 to 10 being the game score on Sunday, August 5^th. That game was at New Orleans, and their very next one was an away game as well against the Kansas City Chiefs, ending 27 to 17, on Friday, August 10^th. Finally, in the third week, they were able to come back and get a win, against the Oakland Raiders.
